Accessibility Statement

Homeowner in Richmond photographing a leaking pipe under a kitchen sink before requesting an estimate

Last updated: October 2026

Apparentlyautomatic Plumbing wants apparentlyautomatic.garden to work for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes how we approach that goal. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

Our Goal

We aim to make the site usable for as many people as we can. To do that, we work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, a widely used standard for accessible websites.

Steps We Take

To support access, we aim to:

  • Use clear headings and a logical page layout
  • Add text descriptions for images that carry meaning
  • Keep text easy to read with good color contrast
  • Allow the site to be used with a keyboard
  • Build pages that work on phones, tablets and computers
  • Write in plain, simple language
  • Label form fields clearly

Where We Fall Short

Some parts of the site may not fully meet these standards yet. Material from outside parties, such as embedded tools or services, may be outside our control. We check the site from time to time and fix problems as we find them.

If Something Is Hard to Use

You can still get help if part of the site gives you trouble. Request a callback to speak with a plumber, or email contact@apparentlyautomatic.garden and we will do our part to assist.

Tell Us What You Found

We welcome your thoughts on how accessible the site is. Please email contact@apparentlyautomatic.garden and let us know:

  • Which page or feature gave you trouble
  • What happened and what you expected
  • The browser, device or assistive technology you used, if you know

We will read your message and aim to reply within a few business days.

Work That Keeps Going

Accessibility is never finished. As we update the site, we will keep it in mind and keep making improvements.
